ChongQing International Convention and Exhibition Center (CQCEC)
The ChongQing International Convention and Exhibition Center (CQCEC), is located at the South bank of the Yangtze River Bridge which is the commercial center of Nan Ping district. It is one of the top ten infra-structure project for the community of ChongQing . CQCEC sits on 23 hectares of land with a total built-up area of about 237,000 square meters. The exhibition hall has a built up area of about 133,000 square meters while the convention hall has a built up area of about 42,000 square meters. In addition, there is a 10,000 square meters public square and parking facilities accommodating 2,700 cars.
There are hotels, art galleries and shopping malls within walking distance in the vicinity. CQCEC is 30km from CQ International Airport via a 30-minute drive linked by elevated expressways, 3km from CQ Railway Station, and a few kilometers from several local passenger and cargo ports. CQCEC's location enjoys convenient transportation which supports all the event participants efficiently. |
The Convention Center
CQCEC has 33 function rooms. The rooms can hold from 10 to 1,000 seats. The 1,000 seat convention theatre is equipped with the latest conference equipment, including a 6-language simultaneous interpreting system. There are also news center, contract signing rooms, VIP lounge, journalist lounge and other spaces which are capable of hosting international standard conventions and meetings. |
